I'm Queenie - South Asian expat and author, fumbling my way through London in search of decent biryani that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Desk-bound by day and travel-bound all other times, I don't know the first thing about making gol roties. However, I have miraculously mastered the art of hunting down offbeat destinations for insanely cheap prices, and regularly stumble upon hidden gems away from cliche tourist spots. Also a bit of a rebel, I enjoy defying cultural norms by travelling solo as a South Asian woman and encourage others to do the same.
